Clean first edition (stated) in original unclipped dust jacket, along with a rare and beautiful piece of ephemera: "My Lindy - Mrs. Lindbergh's Soliloquy" - a poem written by Anne Lindbergh and broadcast by WGR of Buffalo, NY on Lindbergh Day, July 29th, 1927. 4 pages, including title page, in clean blue card binding with gold lettering "My Lindy" on cover, original blue ribbon tie on spine. Listen! The Wind book has clean red cloth boards with small gold airplane on cover, gold lettering on spine. No bumping or wear, very narrow line of fading at top and bottom spine edge. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with clean endpapers illustrated with maps. Small previous owner inscription at top of half-title page. Small ink stamped number at bottom corner of rear blank endpaper (910210). 275 pages with appendix. Foreword and map drawings by Charles Lindbergh. Clean dustjacket is not price clipped (2.50 on front inside flap), very shallow chipping at top and bottom spine edges (1/8" to 1/4" or less), a few short closed edge tears. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A very nice collectible quality first edition of this book which details the Lindbergh's history-making flight across the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to Brazil in December 1933..
