About This Item

Indiana University Press. ** STURDY CLOTH-BOUND BOOK** NEAR FINE HARDCOVER IN (VERY GOOD) DUSTJACKET ** NOT A LIBRARY BOOK ** CLEAN, STAIN-FREE, TEXT UNMARKED ** Published by Indiana University Press, 1968. NOTE: The photos you can access with this listing are of the actual book you will be sent; please examine them closely as they provide the best indication of condition. With 397 pages, and with 11 full-page illustration plates. A very well-made, handsome book, bound in heavy-duty linen-covered boards with embossed gold lettering on the front and spine. The book itself has no notable flaws, shows only very scattered, faint age speckles to the exterior page edges, a previous owner's name neatly at top of blank front page, otherwise book appears like new. The book is exceptionally clean and stain-free, square and straight, firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are sharp and unbumped. All pages are clean and stain-free, and all text remains crisp, sharp, and legible. Aside from the previously noted owner's name, there is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or markings of any such kind in the book. The dustjacket is also quite clean and stain-free, complete and intact, NOT price-clipped, no tears, no chips, no pieces missing, with the sun-fading along the jacket edges and to the spine that is normal for this jacket.
