Numbers 520 & 521 in Everyman's Library "Essays and Belles Lettres" series, edited by Ernest Rhys. --- In 'flatback' binding style 1, full orange cloth-covered boards with elaborate Reginald Knowles-designed gilt spine titling & decorations, blindstamped J. M. Dent vignette to front covers, brown topstain and fancy Knowles woodcut art at title page, endpapers & frontis. Volumes lack the dust jackets. --- A well-preserved, unmarked, sturdy set lacking significant damages.; 16mo - 6 to 7 in. tall; xviii, [2], 387, [8], 381 pages .
