This is a charming collection of children's poetry, "Little Ann and Other Poems" by Jane and Ann Taylor. 1883 1st edition published by George Routledge & Sons in London (the 2nd edition was published by Frederick Warne & Co.; note - both 1st and 2nd editions are undated, but are differentiated by the publishing company). The book is beautifully illustrated in color with drawings by KATE GREENAWAY on nearly every page. All edges of the text block are stained blue. Condition:
Light soiling to the covers; sharp corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Consistent foxing to the pages throughout. Partial crack at the front between the front end paper and the first illustrated page preceding the half title page (despite the partial crack, the front cover is still firmly attached and is not at all shaky). Overall the book is in Good+ condition.
