A play in three acts by Edmund Wilson, American writer. His writings influenced many popular authors including Scott Fitzgerald. This play follows an old-fashioned editor of a literary magazine, making a stand for liberalism, and his egoistic wife, ambitious but dissatisfied, as well as a returned expatriate, and the editor's secretary. A satirical play on the American society and social tendencies. With unclipped dustwrapper. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally lovely with only minor shelfwear. Small bookseller sticker to front pastedown. Dustwrapper is smart, unclipped, with minor shelfwear and minor chipping to head of spine and a minor closed tear to tail to of spine.
