This is a Good Only Copy of this book in contemporary half tan calf over brown cloth boards with maroon moroccan title labels to spine and with plain brown endpapers.Complete with illustrations by H.K. Browne including engraved Frontispiece,vignette title page,and 38 engraved plates.Bradbury and Evans London 1857 1st Edition bound in the original blue printed wrappers from the publisher with 20 parts bound in 19 wrappers.This book is lacking the title page of No 1 December part,No IV March part and the final June Entry No XVIIII. All the wrappers present are original in blue and black with Edmiston's adverts.The boards are rubbed and worn with the cloth of the spine lifted,slight weakness to rear hine join.Heavy foxing is present to the title page and frontispiece,foxing present to the rear of plates as usual,corners bumped and with spome fraying to cloth at head and tail of spine.Contents remain generally clean internally with one or two leaves with closed tears to the margins of the pages.Uncommon with the original parts albeit 3 cover issues missing.First Issue with 3 line errata on page xiv and with 'B2' present to the bottom edge of page 371.8vo (octavo) 625pp First Edition .
