US: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1942. Hardback. Very Good -/Good. RARE. Green pictorial boards with white and black particulars to spine. Soiling and tanning to gutters of some pages throughout; light shadowing from illustrations onto facing pages throughout. Illustrations and text are clean and unmarked. Text block is foxed and sunned. Boards are clean with light sunning to edges and headcap of spine; scuffing, bumping and rubbing to edges, corners and ends of spine; blue pen markings to edges of rear flap. Binding is tight; boards are slightly bowed inward. Dust jacket is lightly soiled with moderate to heavy creasing, chipping, closed tears and rubbing to extremities. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
