The Little Minister (in original dust jacket): author of Peter Pan

The Little Minister by J.M. Barrie (aka Sir James Matthew Barrie, author of Peter Pan, Peter and Wendy, Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, etc.) Hardcover Second US Edition (?) Thomas Y. Crowell circa 1905 (originally published in the UK by Cassell & Company, and in the US by H.M. Caldwell Company in 1898.) This may be the second US edition, and the only early edition available in an original dust jacket! Includes photos of a theater production as Barrie had been primarily a playwright. Fine in Near Fine++ Dust Jacket. No cover price present, no indication of a date on the copyright page but probably circa 1905. (One copy online had a former owner signature dated 1909.) Possibly the best copy of this edition available with an outstanding original dust jacket. Book itself is clean, boards clean, pages nice, almost NO shelf-wear or noticeable aging, to be expected. Former owner name on front end-paper. Dust Jacket is complete, NO Major tears and NO major chips, just slight fraying to top and bottom of the spine, and slight nick to upper right-hand corner, else just about as nice as you could ask for! (Most buyers in the 1900's to 1930's threw away the dust jackets off of books, making most dust jackets produced prior to World War II very rare if not scarce.)
