Light evidence of aging to vellum else a remarkably bright clean copy in original box with printed label (some light edgewear, else remarkably sharp). Signed and numbered by the artist, N.C. Wyeth.
First edition, limited issue, being #327/512 copies. A fascinating story of a young Kentucky boy who finds himself at odds with those around him when he joins the Union Army to fight in the American Civil War. Wyeth's gorgeous watercolor illustrations magnificently capture this powerful story.
