Philadelphia: American Sunday-School Union. Fair with no dust jacket. 1856. First Edition. Hardcover. 80 pp. Frontis plate. Black cloth spine with gilt, paper covered marbled boards. Boards are quite rubbed at corners, marbled paper torn off front board at upper left corner and scuffed and worn on back cover. Interior front end paper has remains of old church library label, , title page and plate quite foxed, foxing and age throughout, stitching showing and binding a bit fragile but holding, corner of one page torn off at bottom edge not affecting text. Aged but still a charming Sunday School story, very Victorian.; 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall .
