Part of the Everyman's Library Series: NO. 770. Part 1 in 2 Vols. Pink upper text block edge. Pages remain bright and clear. Binding remains firm. End papers are mildly tanned. Pencil inscription to front end paper. Foyles sticker reminiscent to front paste down. Pink upper text block edge is very faded, mild tanning and faint foxing to text block edges. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Foxing and droplet markings all over. Mild sunning to board edges. Moderate sunning and small bleaching mark to spine, which has mild crushing and wear to ends. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Tears and small area of loss to spine. Moderate marking and foxing to rear panel. Moderate tanning to spine inside and out. Moderate foxing to inside. Pink dye to front inside panel.
