About This Item

Decoy Magazine, 1995-10-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. Signed. Large format hardcover, 112 pages with index. Signed on the half title page in full with no inscription by the author, Henry H Stansbury, and by Lloyd Tyler's daughter, Ruth Tyler Merritt. Fine hardcover in full bound green cloth boards with gilt lettering to the spine. Very Good+ dustjacket, with scattered light surface wear and some light crinkling at the front top edge. A personal and artistic appreciation of Lloyd Tyler, the self-proclaimed "Coy Duck King" of Crisfield, Maryland - so-called because he could make a duck decoy in a matter of minutes. Profusely illustrated with personal photos, as well as those of his decoys and other artwork, in both black and white and in color.
