Subtitle: "A history of Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, including the personalized accounts of the 64 "Ghost Towns", the Ten Existing Towns and the names of many that made up the citizenry and drama of this episodic era of those 74 communities all established before Statehood in 1907."
Copyright 1971 and distributed by Thunderbird Industries (Oklahoma). Stated "First Edition - March 1971" on the copyright page. Red hardcovers show wear such as bumped corners, tanning, nicked edges, scuffs, scratches, and shelfwear. Protruding spine backstrip at the bottom. Pastedowns and endpapers show discoloration/dark staining from the binding glue. Pages and textblock are tanned throughout. Inscribed and signed by the author on the front endpaper, otherwise there does not appear to be any writing in the text. Overall, this book is in Very Good minus (VG-) condition.
