Sextodecimo. 4.5 x 7.5 in. xiv, 306 pp. Fine in the original brick-red cloth boards with bright gilt titling, a firm binding, and clean pages, with a very good illustrated dust jacket that has ordinary shelf wear on the edges, corners, and top of the spine. Signed by Alfau in blue ink on a special page noting the first edition is limited to 1250 copies. Alfau numbered this copy 761. Laid-in Farrar Publisher's subscriber's note.
