Chicago:Herbert S. Stone & Company, 1898. First Edition. hard cover. Very Good/No jacket. Chicago:Herbert S. Stone and Co. 1898. 1st edition. 338pp + 1 pp ad. Top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Covers designed by Claude Bragdon. In very good condition. Covers are very slightly soiled and shelfworn but the design is still bright. The binding is tight but ever so slightly cocked, and hinges are still intact. Aside from 2 notations penciled onto the inside front board, the pages are clean and bright with no previous owners marks or signatures. Overall, a very good copy.
