About This Item
Kankakee, Illinois: Lone Indian Fraternit. Octavo. A very scarce collection (no copies are found on OCLC) of the Lone Indian Fraternity which began in 1926 and was continued up until World War II when its youth became members of the U.S military. The issues of the Lone Indian are: Vol. 8 nos. 6(pt. 1 and 2), Vol. 8 no. 7, Vol. 8 no. 8 (Ladies Number, primarily about their importance as long as man is in charge), Vol. X, no. 2, Vol. X no, 3, Vol. X, no. 9. The organization was not all over the U.S. but also had spread to Canada, Newfoundland, France, British Guiana, the Canal Zone and India (see. Vol. VIII, no. 8 (insert). A very good set.
