About This Item
London: Cassell, 1960. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is clean and tight, with no signatures or inscriptions, and just a few signs of previous use. The edges of the text block have darkened. The red covers are fresh, with light wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is also in very good condition. It is not price-clipped, but does have light edgewear, and shallow chipping at the top of the spine. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: When Rosemary and her prize-winning pony Gold Charm are both involved in a traffic accident and left with permanent injuries, it looks as though they would never compete again. "But Rosemary did not give up hope. Together she and Charm fought back, learning to walk once more, to trot carefully round the paddock, and finally to jump again. At last after weeks of hard work and competition, their courage was rewarded when they earned the right to appear in the Horse of the Year Show at Harringay.
