"The author and his son proceeded on a long journey to Tanganykia for a wide variety of game before heading to the hunting fields of southeast Asia". Inscribed and signed by the author (the author signs with his initials R. L. S. ) on the first free end page. 347 pages. 6 1/2 in. X 9 1/4 in. Over 200 vintage illustrations from photographs made by the author. Orange cloth hardback with gold titles on front and spine. Small 1/2 inch tear in cloth at bottom of spine. Some light foxing to the endpapers. The book is split at the hinges between pages 304-305. Two unused 1947 three cent postage stamps have stuck to page 339 (inside margin area) . These were probably used as a book marker and they can be easily removed. No dust jacket. Book is in Near Fine condition. ; 6 1/2 in. x 9 1/4 in.; 347 pages; Signed by Author .
