A Modern Library edition presenting seven plays by the American playwright Eugene O'Neill (1888-1953), each of which is set aboard a ship at sea. In blue jacket with image of a steamship to front panel. --- In Toledano spine 13 / maroon cloth / silver spine titling / ml device blindstamped to front cover / blank endpapers / jacket style i, verso lists 405 titles in ML catalogue. Interior bears 1946 date but likely published c.1966-68. ML #111.2. --- With two black remainder marks to textblock lower edge, bold black X to front free endpaper and about 10 leaves mis-cut by binder, leaving a ragged edge, otherwise a clean, tightly-bound, sound copy. Price-clipped dust jacket with large tear at tail of spine; other small chips and chafed spots to extremities else intact, bright and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; 12mo (7 to 7-1/2 in. tall); (6), 217 pages .
