Light green hardcover with title in gilt on spine. Condition: Good, with light shelfwear to covers. Light flecking to top left hand corner of front cover. Binding sound. Inscribed to the author Elspeth Huxley (who also wrote the foreword) on front endpaper. Elspeth Huxley was married to Gervas Huxley, Anne Huxleys brother). Anne Huxley was the daughter of Henry Huxley and the granddaughter of Thomas Henry Huxley, biologist and foremost expounder of Darwinism. Written towards the end of her life, this book contains her recollections. 85pp. Several b/w photographic illustrations..
