Set in Scotland, the poem tells of Robert the Bruce as he returns from exile in Ireland. With a lengthy section at rear of volume bearing end notes. This item is not illustrated. An entry in publisher's "Routledge's Pocket Library" series. --- In green half cloth over tan paper-covered boards, with gilt titling on black spine block; and with gilt rules on covers. --- The binding has loosened somewhat but is holding together; and with prior owner's penciled front free endpaper signature, dated 1899. This item scarce in this edition. ; 24mo - 5 to 6 in. tall; 256 pages .
