Hardback, 1948, first edition, Chameleon Books No. 28, with two-tone illustrations, published by Oxford University Press, 72 pages.
Short duodecimo/12mo volume (5" x 7.375") with pictorial paper on card boards and matching dustjacket. Pictorial endpapers. Some shelf-wear to edges of board and spine, a little rubbing to dust jacket with a very small tear at base of jacket spine, some scuffing but otherwise very clean and crisp. Binding firm. Only a little marking to page edges but generally clean. Page surfaces generally very clean, a few pages contain some marking but otherwise good, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
