Book VERY FINE/ Dust Jacket VERY GOOD PLUS. Looks NEVER OPENED. GIFT QUALITY. Boards are navy cloth and spine is red cloth, lettering gilt. Dust jacket is red, lettering black, colour pictorials front and back, black/white illustrations on both flaps. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has minor chipping along top edge, two small rub marks on bottom edge, top edge of dj has a 1/2 inch rip on front and two 1/4 inch rips at top of dj spine with top of dj spine having several small areas of fold over of about 1/16 inch depth and slight separation of the dj cover paper there, some minor chipping and slight fold over on dj top edge back flap. The book itself has covers and spine flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, no spine creases, a bit of sunning along top and bottom board edges. Front end papers are blue/yellow/white/black sketches of different facets of aviation, back end papers are same colours looks like face of the moon but I’m not sure. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Owner’s name, date, ink on ffep. Black/white photos, illustrations and colour illustrations. The History of Flying, Aircraft Design and Construction, Power Plant Development, Systems and Equipment, The Art of Flying, Illustrated Encyclopaedic Index.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
