Paris: Librairie Armand Colin, 1911. Hardcover . Used - very good. 12mo.; 320pp. 3/4 red Morocco leather over marbeled boards. Spine with 5 raised bands and compartments ruled in gilt, as well the lettering in gilt. Inscribed by Sabatier to prominent Philadelphian, Thomas Willing Balch (d. 1927) and with Balch's coat of arms bookplate, front pastedown. Along with the inscription on the half-title page are notes made by Balch as to when, and from whom he received this copy, and affixed to page are 3 cancelled postage stamps from Strasbourg, the location from which Sabatier sent the book. A square, tight copy, handsomely housed in a custom binding, albeit with a bit of fade and rubbing to spine, and now protected in a removable mylar cover.
