A lot of eleven (11) fine contributions made by workers of the Writers' Program of the Work Projects Administration known as the Federal Writer's Project (W.P.A.) Guides. Each volume withdrawn from the U.S. Information Service Library in both Saigon and Hanoi (!). Each bound quite attractively in dark green buckram cloth with sharp and distinct gilt lettering and ruling to spine. Each volume published by the Oxford University Press and Viking Press. Each with library bookplate inside front flaps, ink-stamps at title pages and a few throughout, but remaining signs minimal of ex-library status, and with no checkout-pockets. No underlining or highlighting. Nice-looking green and white endpapers front and rear.
