Condition: Good, with light shelfwear to covers, and light foxing to endpapers. Signed and inscribed on the half-title to the previous owner by the author, Elspeth Huxley. Dustjacket condition: Good, with general light shelfwear and one small tear to top of front of dustjacket. Not price-clipped. Loosely enclosed is a letter dated 1968 from Elspeth Huxley to the previous owner, her aunt Vera Grant, which includes references to the plot of the book. .
