Bottom threequarters of spine is flapping with top quarter loosely laid inside book. spine with some old clear tape marks on leather. Wear to all extremities. Internally complete with original frontispiece of Mary. Old armorial bookplate on front endpaper of William Leaf - the famous Philanthropist and one of the wealthiest merchants in London (1791-1873). First gathering starting to work loose o/w tight. Some offsetting on titlepage. A very rebindable copy of the original First Edition of this famous work..
