A lovely First Edition (American, so stated, Hanrahan (60)), personally signed for Parrish Books at Maruice Sendak's red barn on the half-title page. This is the complete play text as it was performed in Glyndebourne with the stage and costume designs by Maurice Sendak. In fine unread condition, the book is in beige cloth with red and gold cover design and titles, with "First American Edition , 1984" on the copyright page. No dj. An absolutely beautiful copy that will truly delight any fan of Maurice Sendak's whimsical illustrations.
