First Edition. 8vo,.. spiral bound, pict paper wraps, 286 pages, illustrated, clean, bright copy, Contains intimae stories of th author' ancestors , Loyalists who came to settle on the shores of Little River, Sunbury Co. New Brunswick. The community was later re-named Ripples. It is located 34 kilometers east of Fredericton on the Richibucto Road, known as Highway 10. Much for the genealogists on the Ackerman, Campbells, McLaughlin, Young, the New Jersey Volunteers, etc. Mentioned are the Saxby Gale of 1869, The Interments Camps of WW ll, Gypsies, Log Drives, the hungry Thirties. Also, all the information from the gravestones of those buried in the Ripples Community Cemetary are listed. Appendix 'B' has ancestors charts for John Clifford Campbell; Annie Sinnott McLaughlin and Lilla Belle Young..
