Ex library with labels on lower spine and endpapers, ink stamps on text block edges and first pages. Author frontispiece portrait detached. Corners and spine ends worn. Spine is taped over, has ink notation and some scratches. Some page edges chipped and torn when cut. Clipping pasted to a rear endpaper marking opposite page. Map missing from rear pocket.

Includes large biographical section as well as appendix.
