Octavo, hardcover, near fine in (rare) edgeworn dj. 153 pp. 14 Full page illustrations by author on high quality paper, bright and white, the other pages are slightly tanned with age. Green and white pictorial endpapers. Setting is an island on the Danube with few inhabitants who plant white beer radishes to sell to a beer garden in a nearby German town.
