Philadelphia: Fortress Press, 1977. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good Plus. THIRD PRINTING. Notation, in pen, to front free endpaper. One ink mark on pp 19 and 45. Dustjacket very good plus. Light creasing and edgewear to spine and extremities of jacket. A few small closed tears to top edge of jacket. Gilt lettering on three black background sections bordered in gilt on spine of red, cloth-covered boards. Clean, bright, tight. 486 pp with indices. The entire set, of which this is ONE volume, was published in 55 volumes. "The conversations selected for this volume of Luther's Works have been carefully chosen from among more than seven thousand entries of the Weimar Edition with two aims in view : historial perspective and contemporary relevance. The annotations are precise and are related directly to the material at hand," (rear flap).
