Jacomb Hood. Pages are bright and clear with moderate tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Visible thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Creasing to page 167 and plate. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning and foxing to edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a noticeable forward lean. Water drops on rear board.
