Good+. 1878. Hardcover. ; Half brown leather bound cover with 4 raised bands and gilt stamped spine detail is worn at extremities and cloth discolored but overall in good condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. End sheets and paste downs soiled and foxed. Pages unfoxed, clean and in very good condition. Several antiquated ephemera pieces laid-in, including an original poem about the US flag dated October 25, 1892, and signed by the author (child). This poem was later published as unknown author in January 15, 1919, "National School Service" publication. .
