London: Valpy, 1828. two volumes bound in one, recent cloth, new endpapers, text block edges marbled, discreet ownership stamp on title page, of Dublin Jesuit residency; a few foxing spots in some outer leaves, but the text throughout is generally pristine, apparently never consulted. Pagination: iv, 502, 503-956, 76-page index. The book was part of a library set of Valpy's Delphin series, bound originally in calf. Over the decades, polluted city air caused the leather spines to decay, while leaving the books otherwise undamaged.. First Thus. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
