Zurich: Buchergilde Gutenberg, 1950. First edition of his last book. Second issue with translator's name on verso of title page [Treverton 927(2)]. German text. Made into a 1960 supernatural drama film directed by Roberto Gavaldon -- the first Mexican film to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Spine ends a little pushed in and edges lightly rubbed otherwise near fine. Lacking a dust jacket, if issued in one.
