London: Mathews and Leigh, 1807. No edition stated. 8vo, 227pp. 4 portrait plates ( of Mr Macklin, Betterton, Henderson and Mrs Pritchard). Contemporary blue paper-covered boards. The binding has been crudely rebacked with decorated paper, the edges of the boards are worn, the plates have staining to the margins, the final text page is torn and there is an inscription by a former owner. Overall a fair to good copy only.
