An exhibition catalog for a landmark show that ran November 25, 1968 through February 9, 1969 at The Museum of Modern Art and then traveld for additional dates. Includes brief essays about each work in the catalog along with numerous color and black and white illustrations of works by the likes of Alexander Calder, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Alberto Giacometti, Rene Magritte, Man Ray, Claes Oldenburg, Robert Rauschenberg, Kurt Schwitters, and numerous others. A clean very near fine copy with an illustrated metal binding. A much nicer than usual copy of a book that is easily prone to wear.
