Paris: Editions Mornay, 1930. Near fine.. Finely bound copy of the French classic - in an experimental Art Deco style, featuring stingray leather on the front panel. Octavo, 7.75'' x 6''. Contemporary full purple goatskin, front panel with stingray inlays. Grey reverse calf fly leaves; pastedowns left unfinished by binder. Original wrappers bound in. Fore-edge and bottom edge uncut. One of 1000 copies on Rives paper. Illustrated by Boullaire with frontispiece and vignettes throughout. [4], 468. [2] pages. Bookplate on verso of frontispiece. Some foxing to frontispiece and lightly scattered elsewhere. Spine somewhat toned. Tight.
