Blue cloth, black lettering on front cover and spine, 8vo, 189 pp. Account of the work and morale of French women during World War I. Illustrated with 17 full page plates. This copy possibly a publisher or author copy, with a detailed financial accounting of the cost of producing this book, in hand on the ffep, showing the total cost breakdown for 2000 copies printed by the Plimpton Press. No marks in book, binding tight. Top edge of text block somewhat soiled. In an illustrated dust jacket that shows considerable chipping and with sticker dated 1919 on spine. Book condition VG in Fair DJ. Uncommon World War I title.
