London: Printed for Longman, Hurst, Rees, and Orme..., 1807. 2 volumes. 12mo, pp. ix [x quotations], [vi], 320 [321 errata, 332 adverts] + 24 pp. adverts dated 1 August 1807; [iv], 240, engraved frontispiece and engraved title-page in each volume, additional engraved plate preceding text in volume 1, original boards, uncut, almost falling to bits, with front cover of volume 1 attached by one cord only, spines defective. Southey's contribution to the debate about the Welsh settlement in America was first published in a fine quarto of 1805; the errata leaf in volume 1 is sometimes found in volume 2.
