New York, New York, U.S.A: F.M. Lupton Publishing Company, 1901. Softcover. Fair/No Jacket as Issued. 5 3/4" x 8 1/4. FAIR / NO DUST JACKET as Issued. 62 pp. The Leisure Hour Library. No. 328. Text clean and unmarked except for previous owner's name on front wrap and notation on first page, both in pencil. Pages tanned, first 30 pages chipped (nibbled?) at top outside corner. Paper wraps decorated and printed in brown, tanned, slightly soiled, chipped and worn, back wrap missing. Original staple binding intact and firm. Charlotte Mary Brame (1836-1884), (usually known as Charlotte M. Brame, or sometimes Braeme), an English novelist, appeared under pseudonyms in America, notably Bertha M. Clay, or Dora Thorne.
