About This Item
New York, NY: Parents Magazine Press, 1980. First Edition, First Printing . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Art Cummings (Illustrator). Text/Bright, clean, strong & Near New. Illustrated boards/VG; Strong & sound w/light soiling. Sympathetic story of King Max, who was very, very short. No one else seemed to mind, but the King did. He stretched and stretched his limbs to no avail and fell victim to con-artists peddling a Magic Growing Powder. Thank goodness for the sensibilities of Princess Penny, the con-artists are conned, and King Max grows to be a grand monarch though small in stature. A tale of inner growth.
