New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1929. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. King, Alexander. First edition, as indicated by the "1" listed under the publisher on the copyright page. Black cloth over boards with gilt particulars to spine and stamped rule and decoration to front board. Black-and-white illustrations throughout by Alexander King. Pages are clean and unmarked. 1 cm closed tear to top edge of title page which does not impact readability of text. Boards are clean, with light to moderate bumping and rubbing to corners. Binding is tight and square.
