Tabart and Co.; London., 1806. Hard. Fair+. 12mo. 7".. 9 of 11 colour engravings. Fair+. Contemporaneous dark red half-morocco and papered boards, covers rubbed and worn. Small bookplate to front pastedown. Missing two plates - for fifth and tenth chapters and two plates are detached, one of these being a little greyed and dog-earred, with a couple of tiny missing chips from corners. Title page and one further plate detached from about halfway downwards. There are around ten instances throughout the text where a single word has been erased through what appears to be a combination of chemical process and rubbing, which is odd and in one instance a tiny hole has resulted and again to the last leaf of the publishers ad`s to the rear. Name in contemporaneous hand to rear free endpaper. 200pp.
