About This Item
Garden City, NY: Doubleday, 1986. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. 182 pages. A Double D western. Lansdale's first hardcover book and something of a cult classic. First edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket. A terrific copy, inscribed to Lansdale's friend and fellow Texas writer, Neal Barrett Jr. "For Neal, a real writer, from Joe, the toy writer. Jose R. Lansdale." With a review slip laid in and a custom green slipcase for protection.
This copy came from the collection of the late Tom Garner, to whom Barrett's Interstate Dreams is dedicated. Garner was a friend of both authors.
