London: Amalgamated Press, 1928. Paperback. Very Good. 28 p.: illustrations; 28 cm. Front wrapper has illustration in orange and blue of a man in a suit attacking two boys. Contents: A Fortune at Stake by Frank Richards -- Winning Through by Dicky Nugent -- The Lord of Lost Island. Frank Richards was a pseudonym used by the publisher for the many stories set at Greyfriar School in Kent. Most Frank Richards stories were written by Charles Hamilton (1876-1961), the most prolific writer of boys' fiction (according to Guinness). In Very Good Condition: pages are browning; minor edge chipping; clean and solid.
