London: George Allen and Unwin Ltd, 1927. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. An abbreviated translation of "La Magic Devoilee" which was first published in France in 1852. Original black cloth wid red-coloured inlay and titles at upper cover and backstrip. pp. 154 with short publisher catalogue at the rear. Illustrated with occasional line drawings. Covers worn at the corners and spine tips, titles a bit faded, off-setting to the endpapers. Free from owner names, library markings etc, in pretty Good condition overall.
