The first in a series of profiles on the personnel of major league baseball clubs. Profiles on famous Yankees of the time period. Signed presentation from Meany on the front endpaper, to Baseball Hall of Fame sports writer Jack Lang and his wife: "To Winnie and Jack- All the best, Tom Meany." Lang was an extremely well-known and honored sports reporter who, for two decades, had the honor of telling players that they were elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Very Good (few small rubbed spots covers; contents clean & tight, small creases very upper corner of last few pages; one corner binding slightly bent); not bad (some wear & rubbing, few nicks & short tears; $3 price is present) d/j.
