Bright and clean, unmarked, golden cover, with photograph by Tom and the Badger in 1944, Ooroowillanie sandhill, Birdsville Track. Two eight-page sections of b/w photographs on coated paper. Crease lines are beginning at the lower front corner and the rear lower corner is creased. No spine creases. Binding tight, solid and square. Page edges and pages are clean, white, no markings of any kind. Tom Cruse, loved and respected by a generation of Australians, is a legend of the outback. The Birdsville Track is one of the best known and loneliest tracks in Australia and this track was the one used by Tom the Mailman, where he delivered mail for twenty years, often under the worst conditions--heat, floods, truck breakdowns.
